Various Artists – French Touch - House Session

The "French Touch Collection" is a double LP series dedicated to the French electronic music scene. Influenced by new music genres such as house, hip-hop, techno and the rave parties, several French producers took part in the democratization of electronic music in the mid-90s. Their music, which the British journalist Martin James called "French Touch", became a new, internationally renowned music genre in 1996, characterized by electronic productions and music samples from hip-hop, funk or disco.

In the early 2000s, the "French Touch" scene reinvented itself with a new generation of uninhibited artists, driven by a raw, rock-like sound. The 2010s brought a new wave of French Touch, influenced by pop music and focusing more on melodies and oneiric universes. This new work is dedicated to house, with artists and tracks that have contributed to the development of the "French Touch": "Bon voyage"!
