Tower Of Power ‎– Back To Oakland

"Back To Oakland" is the fourth album by Tower Of Power from the Bay Area, which was originally released in 1974. With "Back to Oakland", Tower Of Power topped their self-titled self-titled gold album, which many critics confirmed.

This album is tougher, funkier, better produced and with stronger vocals from Lenny Williams (who was much better suited to the role of The role of lead singer was much better suited to him) and sent an excellent ballad with "Time Will Tell" and with "Don't Change Horses (In The Middle Of A Stream)" a song with a fast tempo fast tempo into the race. Incidentally, the Tower Of Power brass section underlines its reputation in soul and Pop circles.

"Back To Oakland" was recognized by Modern Drummer magazine as one of the most important recordings for Drummers.
