Eric Clapton's lifelong passion for the blues burns bright in "Nothing But The Blues." The film, which aired once on PBS in the U.S. in 1995 and was nominated for an Emmy® Award, has been upgraded to 4K for its long-awaited official release. The documentary, written and produced by Scooter Weintraub and executive produced by Martin Scorsese, features an in-depth interview with Clapton conducted by Scorsese. In the interview, Clapton talks about his love of the blues and the profound influence that bluesmen like Muddy Waters and B. B. King had on his music.

Many of these artists (Robert Johnson, Howlin' Wolf, Buddy Guy, T-Bone Walker) appear in the film through old performances, interviews and photos. The film also includes 20 previously unreleased live performances recorded in 1994 during the legendary guitarist's "From The Cradle" tour. The "From The Cradle" album was awarded a Grammy and went multi-platinum.
