Songs like "Kama is Capricious" (No. 1 in the US and UK) with its rhythmic chorus, "Poison Mind" (No. 10 in the US and No. 2 in the UK), "Miss Me" (No. 5 in the US) and "It's a Miracle" (No. 13 in the US and No. 4 in the UK) were all worldwide hits that added to the pop feel of the album. This album landed at number 96 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 best albums of the 1980s and was voted number seven in the NME's "Albums of the Year" for 1983. It went triple platinum in the UK, diamond in Canada and quadruple platinum in the US, where it spent six weeks at number two behind Michael Jackson's Thriller.
