With his new album "Who Is The Sky?", David Byrne opens another exciting chapter in his artistic career. After the worldwide success of "American Utopia" - celebrated as an album, Broadway show and HBO film - Byrne now turns his gaze inwards: What does it mean to be creative? What is love? What is our place in the world?

Together with Grammy-winning producer Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus) and the New York chamber ensemble Ghost Train Orchestra, a work has been created that combines personal stories with orchestral sound diversity and pop musical subtlety. Guests such as Hayley Williams (Paramore), St. Vincent and Tom Skinner (The Smile) lend the album additional depth.

Songs such as "My Apartment Is My Friend", "She Explains Things to Me" or "I Met the Buddha at a Downtown Party" tell everyday observations with wit, humanity and a touch of absurdity. Byrne succeeds like few others in packaging complex thoughts in catchy music and thus always remaining accessible.
