Tangerine Dream – Electronic Meditation

The album was recorded in Berlin in October 1969 and released a year later. Tracks such as the album title "Journey Through A Burning Brain" set the style for an entire genre and illustrate the creative potential of the German music scene in the early 1970s. The band line-up at the time consisted of Edgar Froese, Klaus Schulze and Conrad Schnitzler.

It combined various styles from jazz to experimental rock. In addition to the electronics designed by Edgar Froese himself, the group also used traditional instruments such as guitars and organs, drums and cello.
