Frontman Mike Shinoda recently described their new, sixth album as a "really loud and aggressive Linkin Park album". Singer Chester Bennington enthused that while recording the new single "Guilty All The Same (feat. Rakim)", he felt "an excitement that I haven't felt in a long time."

Linkin Park is an incredibly successful band. That their new album "The Hunting Party" will also be a milestone is basically already pretty clear.

The guest features on "The Hunting Party" are also promising. In addition to features from rap legend Rakim and Helmet head Page Hamilton, Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine) and Daron Malakian (System Of A Down) were also invited to contribute.

in 2005, Linkin Park founded Music For Relief, a 501 © 3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of natural disasters and the prevention of such disasters. Since its inception, Music For Relief has raised more than six million dollars for victims of various disasters on four continents. The organization was recognized by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon for the "Download to Donate" program to raise funds and awareness following the earthquake in Haiti. In recognition of their humanitarian work, Linkin Park received a Global Leadership Award from the United Nations Foundation in 2011.
