"Mr. Scrapper's Blues" is the second album by Scrapper Blackwell and was originally released in 1962 on Bluesville Records. On this stripped-down album, Blackwell can only be heard on vocals, guitar and piano. Producer Arthur Rosenbaum says: "[Blackwell's] blues is less direct and accessible, but more subtle and personal; its meaning has deepened over the years."
This album was pressed on 180-gram vinyl at QRP in collaboration with Acoustic Sounds and is housed in a replica tip-on sleeve.
