"The Emancipation of Mimi", which was released on April 12, 2005 via Island / Def Jam Records, is Mariah Carey's tenth studio album and is considered her "comeback" project. It became her best-selling album with the hit singles "We Belong Together", "Shake It Off", "Don't Forget About Us" and "It's Like That". 

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of "The Emancipation of Mimi", the album is being reissued as a 2LP, which includes a new bonus track making its debut on vinyl: "We Belong Together (Mimi's Late Night Valentine's Mix)".
