"Meddle" is the sixth long player of Pink Floyd. The album was originally released on October 30, 1971 and is generally considered Pink Floyd's musical evolution from psychedelic rock to art rock.
The album enjoyed great success, reaching #3 on the album charts in the UK. In the U.S., "Meddle" went double platinum.
The songs were mainly written in collaboration with Roger Waters, Dave Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright. Meddle" was recorded between January and August 1971 at Air Studios, Abbey Road Studios and Morgan Studios.
