"A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" is the 13th long player by Pink Floyd. The album was originally released on September 7, 1987 and is the first studio work of the band after the departure of Roger Waters in December 1985.
The total of eleven songs were largely penned by David Gilmour, who was also responsible for the production together with Bob Ezrin. The recordings took place in Gilmour's houseboat studio Astoria and in Mayfair Studios in London.
The title "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" is a line from the song "One Slip", which is included on the longplayer.
