"Fantastic Voyage" was released in March 1994 by Tommy Boy Records as the third single from Coolio's debut album "It Takes a Thief" (1994). The song reached number 12 in the US Billboard Hot R&B Singles Charts, number 2 in the Billboard Hot Rap Singles Charts and number 3 in the Billboard Hot 100. The album sold one million copies in the USA and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
