Little Monsters is the debut album by American band Holland, released in 1985. The band, originally formed in Chicago by Michael Angelo Batio, known for his virtuoso guitar skills, and incredible vocalist Tom Holland. The album features an energetic, upbeat and driving mix of hard rock and metal elements characteristic of the mid-1980s, but with its own freshness and originality. Stand out songs on the album are “Gotta Run,” a brilliant 80’s power ballad, “Love In On Time,” Wake Up the Neighborhood, “High Life” and “Sacrifice.” All and all a really strong album that makes you wish they done more.Billboard reviewed the album, describing it as “dominated by good-natured high-energy rock” and noting that it “…also includes a bizarre space cut” and “a ballad with a classic phonic feel.” The album includes the hit singles “West Coast Woman” and Goin' Home to Rock 'n' Roll.
