Last year, Molly Tuttle won the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album for her album "Crooked Trees". in 2023, the award-winning musician and singer from California is following up with her new work "City Of Gold".

Molly Tuttle began making music with her father, a multi-instrumentalist and bluegrass teacher, as a child. The two recorded their first album together when Molly was just 13 years old. At 19, she attended the renowned Berklee College of Music and began regularly realizing her own projects and collaborations.

Now her fourth album is being released, the second on which the 30-year-old is supported by her band Golden Highway. Together, the five musicians prove once again how innovative and modern bluegrass music can still be today. Even without ignoring the roots and traditions of the genre.

Molly Tuttle says about "City Of Gold": "Just like gold fever, the music has always captivated me, captured my heart and made me want to explore its depths. I recorded this record with my band Golden Highway after playing over 100 shows across the country last year. The songs range from breakdowns to ballads, fairy tales and fiddle tunes, from Yosemite to Gold Country and beyond the mountains. I first heard about El Dorado, the City of Gold, on a visit to Coloma, the site of the first gold mining in California. When you make music, you can get to a place that is just as valuable."
