The CD compilation series "ZYX Italo Disco History" has now reached the year 1988. Even though the absolute peak of the Italo Disco wave had passed, there were still many exceptional titles in 1988. Brian Ice, Den Harrow, Italian Boys, Kinky Go, Koto and Radiorama were still reliably delivering big hits for the Italo Disco fan community in 1988.

As with the previous episodes, the title selection was again made in collaboration with Italo Disco legend Flemming Dalum. As an exclusive bonus, there is once again a megamix and liner notes by Flemming Dalum
