Jaber DJ – My Question

MEM Music story continues with a new release from Diso Gilioli aka Jaber DJ / J.D. Jaber. “My Question” was written after the success of “Don’t Stop Lovin'” by Mr. Gilioli and Tiziana Rivale. Now the old composition has found a new life in the capable hands of Sandor Mate aka Electro Potato. You can also find another old demo based instrumental track “Amorella” from the B-side of the vinyl.

Mr. Gilioli was one of the founders of Montello Studios (together with Larry Pignagnoli, Ivana and Theo Spagna, Luigi Manzi and Mirko DalPorto) in 1980. Cundari and Zanni bought the studio in 1983 and it became the first Memory Records studio. Paradiso lived then and still lives in the house next door. As a multi-talented musician he was invited to the studio to play whatever was needed. He also worked as a studio engineer and arranger on most of the early Memory productions. Sometimes he also sang tracks (J.D. Jaber – Don’t Stop Lovin’/Cheaps – Moliendo Cafe for example).
After my visit at Gilioli’s place in July 2024 I have had a privilege of working on some old projects found from the archives of Mr. Gilioli; such as the new “Jaber DJ – My Question/Amorella”.
