700 Miles Of Desert is the second album by White Rose Transmission and the last that Adrian Borland completed before his death in April 1999. The former singer and guitarist of The Sound formed White Rose Transmission together with Carlo van Putten, the Dutch singer of the German band The Convent. Opposite Direction Foundation in collaboration with Sounds Haarlem Likes Vinyl are bringing this forgotten classic out of the shadows with a remastered release on double LP in gatefold sleeve with a 12-page booklet, based on the original artwork. An album that you cannot ignore as a fan of The Sound, Adrian Borland and The Convent or as a lover of dark-poetic post-punk and rock.
