The great Italo disco era came to an end in 1989. For many years, the tracks were a permanent fixture in the European charts. Countless artists such as Den Harrow, Radiorama, Ken Laszlo and Valerie Dore landed numerous hits and delighted fans with their catchy, melodic songs.

The CD compilation series "ZYX Italo Disco History 1989" sheds light on the last year of the great Italo Disco era. At the start are: Ken Laszlo, Albert One, Den Harrow, Laserdance, Radiorama and many more. As with the previous episodes, the tracks were selected in collaboration with Italo disco legend Flemming Dalum. As an exclusive bonus, there is once again a megamix and liner notes by Flemming Dalum.
