• First-ever audio release of rare cover versions from her 1983 Emmy-winning TV special ‘Act One’ plus a wealth of previously unheard alternate mixes and vocal takes from her hit albums ‘Take My Time’, ‘Best Kept Secret’ and more. 

• 48 page booklet includes rare photography, illuminating new interviews with songwriters and producers including Christopher Neil, Jay Graydon and Greg Mathieson as well as an introductory note written by Sheena herself.

Having rocketed to overnight fame in the UK in the early 80s as pop’s first reality TV star thanks to  BBC’s ‘The Big Time’, Sheena soon established herself as a truly international star, where her genre crossing approach resulted in her being the first artist in US history to score top 3 hits in each of  Billboard’s main charts: Hot 100, R&B, Dance, Adult and Country.  

As part of Cherry Red’s on-going reissue campaign of the vocalist’s EMI catalogue in association with RT industries, this sumptuous 5CD box set collects Easton’s first five studio sets: starting with her platinum-plus debut ‘Take My Time’ via sophomore smash ‘You Could Have Been With Me’, fan favourite ‘Madness, Money And Music’, new wave career reboot ‘Best Kept Secret’ and concluding  with the long-awaited CD-repressing of her smash Spanish language outing ‘Todo Me Recuerda a Ti’. 

As well as spanning international hits like ‘Modern Girl’, ‘When He Shines’ and the Kenny Rogers’ duet ‘We’ve Got Tonight’, the collection includes deep cuts like yacht-rock gem ‘So Much In Love’  and her powerhouse early recording of ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’. 

The set debuts 25 previously-unreleased tracks including cover versions of Billy Joel and Irene Cara classics from her Emmy-winning TV special ‘Act One’ and alternate mixes and unheard vocal takes of many Easton classics including her Bond theme ‘For Your Eyes Only’, ‘Almost Over You’ and international chart-topper ‘Morning Train (9 To 5)’.
