Nickelback's latest album "No Fixed Address" is their eighth studio album. The Canadian band continues to write their success story at regular intervals of two to three years. With countless awards and nominations and over 50 million albums sold worldwide, they have now come to the conclusion that they can become bolder and more political. With the first single "Edge Of A Revolution", for example, they denounce the machinations of the financial markets and surveillance by the NSA. Chad Kroeger makes it clear that they are not trying to start a real revolution, but that rock music has always been there to address grievances and shake people up.

Nickelback's new CD "No Fixed Address" is bursting with ingenuity and verve. The sound remains unmistakably Nickelback, but this time there are also experiments with new content and musical elements. Nickelback have no desire to stick to the tried and tested. There simply has to be variety within the tried and tested framework. The title of "No Fixed Address" has a tangible reason. During the creation and recording of the new album, the band traveled the world. Twelve different places - Zurich, Gothenburg, London, Surrey, Copenhagen, Vancouver, Berlin, Kapalua, Toronto, Los Angeles and Budapest - in a total of twelve months were the stages of their tour of duty.

Nickelback drew inspiration for "No Fixed Address" from their local surroundings: A different cultural background, foreign people, foreign weather, foreign food. The constantly changing world around them was a brilliant idea for coming up with creative new songs. Chad had been on the lookout for suitable locations during the world tour for the previous album. The tracks on the new CD benefited immensely from this. Nickelback's ballads have never had more power, their sound has never sounded so playfully unleashed.

On "No Fixed Address" Nickelback offer something new without fans having to fear that the band has changed completely. The unmistakable Nickelback sound is a trademark, the guys know that. But variety makes tired musicians lively - and that's the most important thing. There are countless new elements, such as the horns in "Got Me Runnin' Round".
