"Earth Mother Earth" is a self-produced album in the truest sense of the word by former YES singer Jon Anderson. Acoustic in nature and recorded in his home, "Earth Mother Earth" in some ways rekindles the magic of Anderson's debut solo album "Olias Of Sunhillow", utilizing harp, acoustic guitars and vocals. This time he takes a more natural approach with songs about love and faith, using sounds from his garden, including birdsong in the background. Musically, this album shows the great influence that Simon & Garfunkel and Cat Stevens had on Anderson (and therefore also on YES).
