The successful debut finally back on vinyl
With "August And Everything After", the Counting Crows released their debut album almost 25 years ago. in 2017, this classic is finally available again on vinyl, as a double LP.

When the band started working on the album, they had already been playing together for about two years. After finding a record company, they recorded "August And Everything After" in a house in Los Angeles that had been rented especially for the purpose. The record was finally released on September 14, 1993, and shortly thereafter landed at number four on the U.S. charts.

The reason for this was, among other things, songs like "Round Here", "Rain King" and, of course, their most famous song to date, "Mr. Jones", which helped them to achieve international popularity.

In the U.S., "August And Everything After" went platinum seven times over, and in Germany, too, the album was able to hold its own in the charts for a whole 16 weeks.
