The return of the megastars
Nickelback, one of the most successful bands of the last decade, is back. Their new album is entitled "Get Rollin'".

Five years have passed since "Feed The Machine", the Canadians' last album. The band deliberately did not allow themselves to be put under pressure from outside to complete the new material. Instead, the healthy, relaxed premise of "it's finished when it's finished" prevailed.

After over 50 million records sold and almost five billion streams, the quartet really don't need to be told how and when to release new music. The fans will also ecstatically celebrate the band's new, tenth album and the eighth top ten position in a row should be a mere formality.

The eleven new songs on "Get Rollin'" were once again written entirely by Nickelback and also produced by the band themselves with Chris Baseford. The two pre-released singles give a good impression of how diverse the result sounds. "San Quentin" is a wide-legged rocker and surprises with hard guitars before the chorus reveals its typical catchy qualities. The second single "Those Days" is a nostalgic hymn to the good old days and is reminiscent of classic Nickelback power ballads such as "Someday".
