Kodaline – In A Perfect World (Expanded)

Irish rockers Kodaline released their first album, In a Perfect World, in June 2013. It spawned the singles ‘High Hopes’, ‘All I Want’, ‘Love Like This’, and ‘Pray’, topped the charts in Ireland and made number three in the UK, where it is a certified platinum seller

The songs ‘Perfect World’ and ‘Brand New Day’ have long been staples of the soundtrack for the hit Channel 4 show Gogglebox, the former being the show's main theme tune, and the album rightly attracted praise for mastering the art of the killer chorus, carefully constructing a series a confident, cinematic, alternately dreamy and intense compositions driven by chiming guitars, chunky rhythms and front man Steve Garrigan’s impressive falsetto.

This expanded reissue features a second disc of nine bonus tracks drawn from the deluxe 2CD edition of the album, five of which have never been available on vinyl before.
