Morcheeba – Remix The Chaos (Volume 2)

Morcheeba are back with the second EP of their “Remix The Chaos” project—a year-long series of releases in which all tracks from their 2025 studio album “Escape The Chaos” are reinterpreted.

Volume 2 spotlights London-based art-rockers Django Django, who breathe fresh garage energy into “Hold Me Down,” as well as prolific producer Rex The Dog, who transforms the Latin American nuances of “Dead To Me” into an extended electro powerhouse. In addition, experimental producer Daedelus takes “Cooler Heads” into leftfield IDM territory, and regular Morcheeba remixer Merther Hum transforms the album’s title track, “Escape The Chaos,” into a deep, sophisticated dub. These bold reinterpretations, equally suited for the dance floor and for the couch late at night, push Morcheeba’s groundbreaking sound further toward the outer boundaries of electronic music.

“Remix The Chaos (Volume 2),” presented on rubber-duck-yellow vinyl in classic disco bag packaging, is just the latest in a series of must-have releases from the trip-hop titans.
