Cockney Rebel – The Human Menagerie

Steve Harley formed Cockney Rebel in early 1972 along with Stuart Elliott, Paul Jeffreys, Jean-Paul Crocker and Milton Reame-James. Having signed to EMI Records after only 5 gigs they released their first single ‘Sebastian’, which still remains an early Harley classic composition today, it was quickly followed by their debut album ‘The Human Menagerie’ in 1973. The endurance of Cockney Rebel’s early recordings are still much loved and in demand today.
