"Silence Is Easy" is the second studio album by the English indie rock group Starsailor, released in September 2003 by EMI Records. The album cover is loosely based on the album "Heaven Up Here by Echo & the Bunnymen".
The song "Some of Us" was featured in an episode of Bones entitled "A Boy in a Bush" and in the end credits of the Belgian film The Memory of a Killer (also known as The Alzheimer Fall). In its first week of release, the album sold 54,296 copies and reached number 2 in the UK album charts.
To mark the 20th anniversary, the album will be released as a 2CD deluxe edition featuring the original album and a bonus CD of unreleased demos, mixes and live performances. The original album will also be pressed on vinyl for the first time since 2003 and will be available in a limited edition on turquoise blue vinyl.
