Nabihah Iqbal releases her long-awaited new album "Dreamer" on Ninja Tune. Five years after the release of the London-born artist, curator, radio presenter and lecturer's debut "Weighing Of The Heart" and after two years of work, "Dreamer" is Iqbal's most raw and reflective work to date. 

An intimate journey through snapshots and memories from her life, the album explores personal identity and grief through the soft-focus lens of melancholy and is not confined to one particular sound. Her unconventional lo-fi aesthetic is a common thread throughout the album, and she manages to switch between tracks without ever sounding disjointed. Back in the UK, she went on a sojourn to Scotland and Suffolk to complete the album, where she disconnected from the internet. 

Iqbal has hosted radio shows on NTS and BBC (including Radio 1, 1Xtra, Asian Network, World Service and 6Music) since 2013. Since the release of her debut album on Ninja Tune in 2017, Iqbal has toured the world extensively both as a live act and as a DJ. She has performed at the V&A Museum, MoMA PS1 and SXSW, as well as Glastonbury Festival, Warehouse Project, Printworks, Boiler Room, Worldwide Festival and Sónar, among others.
