You can drop in on her early sessions with Ellis Larkins on Ella Sings Gershwin (1950) and Songs In A mellow Mood (1954), hear her on the duets with Paul Smith which peppered 1956’s Ella Fitzgerald Sings The Cole Porter Song Book and 1957’s Ella Fitzgerald Sings The Duke Ellington Song Book, revisit music from the gritty 1960 crime drama Let No Man Write My Epitaph, drop in on her and Tommy Flanagan at a gig in the French Riviera in 1964 (“Somewhere In The Night”) and revisit inspired duets with Oscar Peterson from Ella And Oscar (1975).
