After the remaining BEATLES Ringo and Paul, together with Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison, approached Sir George Martin with a request to create experimental mixes of the original master tapes for a collaboration with Cirque du Soleil, the legendary BEATLES producer and his son Giles Martin set about compiling "Love" using the entire archive of BEATLES recordings.

The result is a completely new approach to the music of the BEATLES. Using the master tapes from EMI's Abbey Road Studios, Sir George and Giles have created a unique soundscape. The release of the album, which is also part of the Cirque du Soleil stage production of the same name created in collaboration with the BEATLES and performed at the Mirage in Las Vegas, is eagerly awaited.
"This music was created for the show 'Love', which is playing in Las Vegas, but at the same time we have created a completely new Beatles album," says Sir George. "The Beatles have always been interested in new forms of expression and this is a new step forward for them." Giles continues, "We had the Beatles' entire catalog on tape, both four-track, eight-track and two-track, and from that palette of sounds and melodies we've created a kind of soundbed. People will have a completely new experience listening to the album, they will live through the whole musical life of the Beatles in a highly compressed period of time."
