Following the spectacular re-release of the Pet Shop Boys albums Nightlife, Release and Fundamental, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe present the next two albums in their Catalogue: 1985-2012 series featuring all studio albums released via Parlophone. The second round presents the Pet Shop Boys albums Yes from 2009 and Elysium from 2012.

Both albums have been remastered and are supplemented by "Further Listening" albums, which contain outstanding bonus tracks and demos from the studio recordings of the time. In addition, there are remixes produced by the Pet Shop Boys themselves with previously unreleased material.

Both albums come with an extensive booklet in which Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe comment on each song and which is illustrated with many archive photos. The entire project was designed by Farrow.

In addition to the remastered original album, the Yes re-issue includes a previously unreleased "Monitor" mix of "The Loving Kind", a song that became a top 10 hit for the girl group Girls Aloud, which emerged from the British casting show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002. Also on the album are previously unreleased demos from the 2010 Young Vic theater production "My Dad's A Birdman" as well as PSB mixes of "Did You See Me Coming?", "The Former Enfant Terrible" and more.
