It took four years, but now it's finally here: Pet Shop Boys are releasing their new, 14th studio album "Hotspot" in 2020, the follow-up to "Super" from 2016.
Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe recorded ten new songs for it, mostly at Hansa Studios in Berlin. As with the two previous albums, Stuart Price was responsible for the production.
The British electro-pop pioneers provided their first impressions of "Hotspot" back in November 2019 with the first single "Dreamland", a collaboration with the British electro-pop band Years & Years, and the song "Burning The Heather".
And they show: Even after 38 years, it's hard to imagine the music business without the Pet Shop Boys. On the contrary: "Hotspot" is another milestone between electro, synth-pop and new wave.
