"The Band" turns 50
To mark the 50th anniversary of their classic album, The Band's self-titled album will be released again in 2019, in various formats.

This milestone is now available again as a double CD, double LP and as a limited edition with two CDs, a Blu-ray audio, a double LP and a bonus 7" single. And it has it all:

A new stereo mix of the album by Bob Clearmountain awaits on CD one and on the double LP. The first CD also contains six previously unreleased bonus tracks.

Disc two contains a "Live at Woodstock" recording and seven studio bonus tracks that were released in 2000.

The Blu-ray audio shines with a 5.1 surround sound mix and a stereo mix of the album. The six bonus tracks are also included in the 5.1 surround sound mix.

The double LP of "The Band" box also includes the new stereo mix, the 7" single contains the songs "Rag Mama Rag" and "The Unfaithful Servant".

The double LP version, which is also available, contains the new stereo mix, while the double CD version corresponds to discs one and two of the limited edition.
