This luxurious box set contains 3 double Cds and is a true marvel as it follows Bob Marley and The Wailers´s career from the “Jamaican period”, that is to say, the early recordings that show their roots and are perhaps the most authentic representation of reggae. Produced by talents like Lee Perry, Danny Sims and Leslie Kong, these songs are rich in original sound. Hymns like “Sun is Shinin´”, “Natural Mystic” and “Kaya” that Bob later recorded inferior versions of are also here before being adulterated by the international rock scene and sound. This box set shows Marley at his most authentic, the Marley connected with his music´s vibrations and his homeland as well. This is the most exhaustive collection from this important period in the life of one of music´s biggest stars.
