This masterpiece is the best-selling jazz album of all time, has been included in many "Best Of" lists and Hall of Fames, and is considered a landmark by everyone. 
Kind of Blue remains one of the most listened to and studied recordings of all time, a must-have for many young musicians, and one of the most powerful pieces of music ever recorded. Davis played majestic trumpet with a sextet of pianist Bill Evans, drummer Jimmy Cobb, bassist Paul Chambers, and saxophonists John Coltrane and Julian "Cannonball" Adderley, with Wynton Kelly playing piano on "Freddy the Freeloader." 

Now, Analogue Productions, the audiophile reissue of Acoustic Sounds, Inc., in partnership with Quality Record Pressings, puts Kind of Blue where it belongs: on UHQR (Ultra High Quality Record) pressed on Clarity Vinyl, where every detail they pay attention. 

The 200 gram discs will feature the same flat groove profile that made the original UHQR so popular. From the lead-in to the run-out groove, the profile has no cant, allowing the turntable's pickup to play truly perpendicular from edge to center. Clarity Vinyl allows for the cleanest possible pressing, free of any carbon black pigments that can cause surface noise, and creates a visually stunning display. All UHQRs are hand-inspected upon completion of pressing, and only truly flawless ones are released to the market.

The discs will be packaged in an elegant gift box, which will include a booklet detailing the entire process of making the UHQR, as well as a hand-signed certificate of verification. In the box we also find a 20-page illustrated publication with updated session photos and notes by Robert Palmer and Ashley Kahn. Of course, the notes of the legendary mastering engineer Bernie Grundman could not be left out of the box either. 

After the 33 1/3 RPM 1LP version, the sound is even more detailed on this 45 RPM 2LP edition. This edition of Kind of Blue meets the highest audiophile standards and offers the most faithful sound for maximum enjoyment. This will be a truly luxurious collector's edition.
