To mark the 40th anniversary of Modern Talking, singer Thomas Anders surprises us with a very special album project: a tribute to Modern Talking!

To mark the 40th anniversary of Modern Talking, the singer is surprising everyone with new recordings of the first six Modern Talking albums, making him the first German artist ever to reinterpret his entire early work! Since 2003, the most successful duo in German pop history has gone their separate ways, but the Modern Talking songs, which are still danced to all over the world today, remain immortal worldwide.

With his unmistakable voice, the new recordings of the first Modern Talking albums are a tribute to the unique successful duo and to the glorious, supposedly colorful and carefree times of the mid-1980s. The songs, once inspired by the pulsating Italo disco sound, are all instantly recognizable, but now sound more contemporary thanks to more modern drums and synths. In addition, the 6-album package is being released for the first time in Dolby Atmos sound, i.e. 3D audio. Thomas Anders also surprises with two previously unreleased songs on each album, such as "Don't Fly Too High" or "Hold Me Tight In The Night" on the first album. Experienced studio musicians have completely re-recorded all the tracks together with Thomas Anders under the aegis of Christian Geller, with Anders being accompanied by the same choir singers who could be heard on the original recordings. During production, tracks from the original production were re-produced as faithfully as possible and mixed into the new versions.

The six albums - "The 1st Album", "Let's Talk About Love", "Ready For Romance", "In The Middle Of Nowhere", "Romantic Warriors" and "In The Garden Of Venus", which feature all the great Modern Talking hits of the 80s will be released at regular intervals from March 2025 until the end of the year on the Stars by Edel label. There will also be an elaborate collector's box (collector's fan item). So for the 40th anniversary of Modern Talking, it's going to be very different ...

"The 1st Album" will be released on the Stars by Edel label as a high-quality anniversary collectors' item in a CD and LP collector's box for all subsequent albums - the first album already included!
