Rednex is a Swedish country pop band. The main feature of this band's style is a mix of European dance music and American country rhythms. The first single Rednex — Cotton-Eye Joe, released in 1994, became very popular and won the top of the charts. The second and third singles, Old Pop in an Oak and Wish You Were Here, also became quite famous throughout Europe. Sex & Violins is the debut studio album released in 1995.
