Tweedy's fifth solo album features an extensive tracklist of 30 new songs, including early fan favorites and concert highlights "Feel Free", "Enough" and "Lou Reed Was My Babysitter".
With "Twilight Override", Tweedy presents three albums that stand alone, but together tell a story of past, present and future. The album features appearances by fellow Chicago musicians and frequent collaborators: Spencer Tweedy, Sammy Tweedy, James Elkington, Sima Cunningham, Macie Stewart and Liam Kazar. Choral vocals are highlighted throughout the work and shine in songs like "One Tiny Flower", "Cry Baby Cry" and "New Orleans".
"Twilight Override" was recorded over the past two years and produced by Tweedy himself in his Chicago studio "The Loft". Tom Schick was responsible for sound engineering and mixing. Mastering was done by Stephen Marsh. Design by Lawrence Azerrad. Photos by Shervin Lainez.
