Widely regarded as one of the greatest concept albums of all time, the Alan Parsons Project's second studio album 'I Robot' is being re-released in a variety of formats, including a limited edition 180g clear vinyl remastered at half speed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios.
The album was originally released in July 1977 and was conceptually based on author Isaac Asimov's science fiction robot stories, which deal with philosophical themes surrounding artificial intelligence. The album was a worldwide success, selling over two million copies and achieving platinum and gold status in numerous countries, including the USA, Germany, Australia and Canada.
