The Alan Parsons Project – I Robot (2025 Remaster)

The Alan Parsons Project's second studio album, "I Robot", widely regarded as one of the best concept albums of all time, is now being re-released in various formats, including a Super Deluxe Edition Box Set. It contains 4CDs, a Blu-ray, an audiophile 2LP pressing, a hardback book and a replica press kit.

Originally released in July 1977, the album is conceptually based on the science fiction robot stories of author Isaac Asimov and deals with philosophical themes surrounding artificial intelligence. The album was a worldwide success, selling over two million copies and achieving platinum and gold status in numerous countries.

As with other Alan Parsons Project albums, it featured a number of different lead singers, including Steve Harley, Allan Clarke, Lenny Zakatek, Peter Straker, Jack Harris and Jaki Whitren. There is also a selection of studio musicians such as guitarist Ian Bairnson and drummer Stuart Tosh with arrangements by Andrew Powell.

- 4CDs with a stereo remaster of Miles Showell's original album plus 70 bonus tracks (47 previously unreleased) from studio out-takes 
- Featuring stunning Dolby Atmos and 5.1 Surround Sound mixes by Alan Parsons from the original multitrack master tapes and a new stereo HD remaster of Miles Showell's original album. The Blu-ray also includes the restored promo video for "I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You" and interview footage with Eric Woolfson talking about the album. 
- The 45rpm 180gm heavyweight vinyl 2LP in a gatefold sleeve includes a half speed remaster by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios 
- A beautifully illustrated 12" x 12" paperback book featuring interviews with Alan Parsons, the Woolfson family and the musicians/lead singers, plus full lyrics and commentary on the bonus tracks
