"King Diamond" began his musical career in 1973 and achieved his first successes with the band Black Rose in 1979. in 1981, he joined the band Brats, in which his later comrades-in-arms Hank Sherman and Michael Denner also played. They finally founded the legendary Mercyful Fate in 1983 and since then he has been an important and indispensable part of the underground heavy metal scene.

He became extremely successful and yet he was always accepted in the scene. His trademarks of dramatic lyrics, theatrics and his dazzling personality itself, combined with the powerful and melancholic music, were undisputed when he started his solo career under his pseudonym King Diamond in 1986 alongside the still existing Mercyful Fate. King contributed new ideas and never-before-heard stylistic elements to heavy metal like no other. With his fondness for horror films, which he incorporated into his music, he broke new ground at the time and brought a breath of fresh air to the scene. All this led King to the pinnacle of heavy metal. He had a decisive influence on bands such as Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer.

House of God (2000) takes us deep into a dark story of faith and betrayal. Now new on vinyl in "Blood Red Marbled".
The double LP gatefold with poster and 45 rpm delivers a fresh and powerful version of this classic.
