"Faith" is George Michael's debut solo album. It reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200 and spent 51 consecutive weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200, including 12 weeks at number one. It was also the first album by a white solo artist to reach number one on the Billboard Top Black Albums chart.
Faith is one of the best-selling albums of all time, selling over 25 million copies worldwide. It is often referred to as one of the best albums of the 1980s and was ranked 151st on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time in 2020.
