"Saturday Night" by Danish singer Whigfield became her debut and main international hit. The release was released in 1994 and instantly conquered the dance charts of Europe, becoming one of the symbols of Eurodance in the 90s. "Saturday Night" made Whigfield the first artist whose debut single immediately topped the UK chart. It became the anthem of resort parties and discos: it was often played in Ibiza and in clubs of resort cities.
