Soul and vinyl simply belong together, and four-time GRAMMY winner Erykah Badu is one of the absolute greats of modern soul. With strong influences from R&B and hip hop, Badu earned her first GRAMMY with her first single "On & On". Her accompanying album "Baduizm" celebrated worldwide success with further singles such as "Appletree" and "Other Side Of The Game", went triple platinum and stayed in the charts for weeks.

The native Texan's second studio album, "Mama's Gun", was released three years later in 2000. The song "Didn't Cha Know" in particular, as well as "Bag Lady" and "Cleva", helped her to chart success and another platinum award.
