The album "Boss Guitar", originally released in 1963, is the eighth album by the influential jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery. It was released on the legendary Riverside label and contains a selection of standards as well as Montgomery originals featuring Melvine Rhyne (organ) and Jimmy Cobb (drums).

This reissue of the album is released as part of the Original Jazz Classics Series on 180-gram vinyl, pressed by RTI, with full analog mastering from the original tapes at Cohearent Audio and a Stoughton tip-on cover.
