A classic soundtrack to one of Alfred Hitchcock's masterpieces: 
Psycho, scored by one of the greatest composers ever to grace the silver screen, Bernard Herrmann (Citizen Kane, Taxi Driver, Cape Fear etc.). Herrmann began writing film music for Alfred Hitchcock in 1955, but the pinnacle of this collaboration was undoubtedly the score for Psycho from 1960, where Herrmann's amazing ability to create the mood made the soundtrack to Psycho perhaps the most memorable in the history of cinema (who can remember the shower scene without hearing the sound of screeching violins?)
