Elvis Presley – It Happened At The World's Fair

The German title of the 1963 movie is "Ob blond, ob braun..." was filmed in Seattle in September 1962 after the "Seattle World's Fair".

The original LP was incredibly short at less than 22 minutes (side 1 was less than 10 minutes long!), and it's probably just the presence of composer Don Robertson that makes the LP interesting. The first treat is "Relax", where you can hear the beautiful jazz guitar work of Tiny Timbrell along with the two pianos of Dudley Brooks and Don Robertson. When Ray Seigel's beautiful walking bass line and the shiny new drums are added to the mix, it's a real joy to listen to.
