Roxette – Pearls Of Passion

Roxette – Pearls Of Passion

The Roxette story began 40 years ago with the release of their debut album, "Pearls Of Passion". Released in 1986, the album marked the beginning of Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson's journey together as Roxette, four decades before a career that would take their music around the world and make them one of Sweden's most successful international pop acts.

"Pearls Of Passion" introduced Roxette with songs including "Neverending Love", their very first single, alongside "Soul Deep", "Goodbye To You" and "I Call Your Name". While their international breakthrough was still a few years away, this is where the Roxette sound and story first began.

Now, 40 years later, we're returning to where it all started with "Pearls Of Passion (40th Anniversary Edition)" - a special expanded edition celebrating Roxette's debut album and the beginning of an extraordinary four decades of music.

The anniversary edition brings together the original album with outtakes and demos from the era, offering fans a deeper look into the making of Roxette's very first album. The physical edition also features rare photography from the archives and comes as a gatefold 2LP, available on limited Marbled Vinyl and Black Vinyl.

A very special release for Roxette fans and the perfect way to celebrate where it all began 40 years ago.
