Amy Macdonald – A Curious Thing (15th Anniversary)

The Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald released her second studio album "A Curious Thing" on March 8, 2010. It entered the British album charts at number 4 and reached platinum status. The album sold 1,000,000 copies.

"A Curious Thing" stayed in the German album charts for 65 weeks and is Macdonald's second album to stay in the charts for more than a year (her debut album stayed in the charts for 101 weeks, including 36 weeks in the top 10). It also reached number 1 in Austria and Switzerland.

2025 is the 15th anniversary of the album. To celebrate this, Amy has put together this 2LP set, with LP1 being the studio album and LP2 containing the complete performance of Amy in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie. This is the first time this performance has been released on vinyl. It also includes previously unreleased images from the time of the album release and is pressed on (LP1) pink and (LP2) clear vinyl to celebrate National Album Day.
