Uriah Heep: The Magician's Birthday (Deluxe Edition)

"The Magician's Birthday" is the band's fifth studio album. It was recorded in London's Lansdowne Studios in 1972. Gerry Bron was responsible as producer.

At the time, Uriah Heep consisted of David Byron (vocals), Gary Thain (bass), Lee Kerslake (drums and percussion), Mick Box (guitar) and Ken Hensley (keyboards, guitar and Moog synthesizer).

The Magician's Birthday" comprises a total of eight tracks, including the singles "Spider Woman", "Sweet Lorraine" and "Blind Eye".

Uriah Heep's "The Magician's Birthday" was released exactly 45 years ago. To mark this anniversary, the British hard rock legends are reissuing the album in 2017 as a deluxe double CD.

All eight songs were remastered for the new edition in 2017. The deluxe double CD also includes a bonus CD with a total of 15 alternative versions. You can find the entire track listing below.
